The Vision - We believe a key to transforming the Chinatown community is reaching the youth with the Gospel of Christ.

Herald Gospel Camp seeks to partner with Chinese churches to reach these youth. Providing them with a community of love among believers will allow them to experience a growing relationship with Christ.

Come join us! Come as a counselor or an assistant counselor. We also encourage you to bring a team from your church with whom you can serve.

• What we're looking for
  • Counselors: College/Career individuals
  • Assistant Counselors: Juniors or seniors in high school
  • Licensed Health Care professionals (nurses, physician assistant, medical doctor, certified EMT, etc)


• Responsibilities
  • Co-lead a small group of 8-10 youth (ages 10-14)
  • Teach a Bible Character
  • Build relationships
  • Share the Gospel (through your testimony, your actions, evangelism tools)
  • Lead games and activities

• Costs
  • We will fundraise as a team.
  • The individual target is $650 per session. After subtracting the costs for you to be at camp, the balance will go to scholarships for youth with financial hardships.
         
• Dates
  • Session 1: July 24-30
  • Session 2: August 21-27
  You may choose to attend one, two or all sessions!
  Note: There are 2 full days of mandatory training to be scheduled.

  • Training Part 1: May 22, 2010 (Tentative)
  • Training Part 2: Saturday June 5,2010 (Tentative)
